Get set for a weekend of electric vehicles [EV] fun, coupled with sustainable home tech pioneers, as the industry readies for Everything Electric, the world’s No.1 EV and home energy expo, taking place in Farnborough, UK, 11-13 October, a festival of first looks and public EV test drives.

Hyundai is gearing up to display its brand new INSTER, the smallest member of the Hyundai electric vehicle family, for the first time in public, while Omoda and MG Motors will be offering the first public test drives of the Omoda E5 and Cyberster. With thousands of test-drives available on a first-come-first-serve basis, attendees will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of more than 25 different EV models and find out how making the swap to electric can be both simple and cost-effective.

With more than half of EV brands sold in the UK exhibiting at the three-day event, Everything Electric is the platform of choice for manufacturers to showcase and launch their latest models.

    Making EVs Accessible

In addition, LoveElectric will be launching its new Personal Leasing product – reloved® – into the market. By leasing used EVs, not charging a deposit, and offering the same all-inclusive maintenance package as standard that you’d get with our brand-new cars, the business is making EVs more affordable for all.

Brands such as Tepeo and energie genie will be showcasing their latest products to make the home more sustainable, and in some cases eye-catching. In a bid to remove boring white boilers from home, Tepeo will be launching their brand-new ZEB coloured boiler range to showcase the customisation and colour options, while start-up energie genie will be highlighting its new BETA smart charging solution to support people to make better choices when it comes to using electric at home.

Bolstering the exhibition will be 50 insightful live theatre sessions, featuring industry-leaders in electric solutions, including fireside chats with Bono Ge, UK Country Manager of BYD on Friday and Greg Jackson, Chief Executive of Octopus Energy on Sunday. In addition, keynotes and topical panels will provide informative resources to visitors looking to make greener, long-term investments for their home life or businesses.

    Electric Cooking Revolution

For some, the way to a more electric life is through their stomach and the Zero Carbon Kitchen will help tick the boxes. Headlined by ‘plant-based’ specialists BOSH!, the all-electric kitchen is returning to the show floor to deliver entertaining and educational live cooking demonstration of plant-based recipes, powered exclusively by an EV.

Taking place at the award-winning Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre in Hampshire, Everything Electric South tickets are available from just £10, with one, two and three-day packages available, and under 15s go free.
