Audi has expanded its A6 e-tron lineup, introducing new entry-level models that enhance accessibility and performance. These additions include the A6 e-tron with a single rear-mounted motor and an 83kWh battery, and the A6 e-tron quattro featuring a twin-motor setup with a 100kWh battery.

    A6 e-tron: Entry-Level Efficiency

The new A6 e-tron models are equipped with a single electric motor delivering up to 326PS, powered by an 83kWh battery. The A6 Sportback e-tron achieves a maximum range of up to 382 miles, while the A6 Avant e-tron offers up to 361 miles, depending on specification. Both variants reach a top speed of 130mph and can accelerate from 0-62mph in 7.0 seconds, reduced to 6.0 seconds with launch control.

    A6 e-tron quattro: Enhanced Performance

The A6 e-tron quattro variants feature a twin-motor configuration producing up to 462PS, coupled with a 100kWh battery. The A6 Sportback e-tron quattro offers a range of up to 438 miles, and the A6 Avant e-tron quattro up to 415 miles, depending on specification. Both models accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.7 seconds, or 4.5 seconds with launch control, maintaining a top speed of 130mph.

    Charging Capabilities

Both models support high charging capacities, with the A6 e-tron capable of 225kW and the A6 e-tron quattro up to 270kW. This allows for rapid charging, with the A6 e-tron reaching 10-80% charge in 21 minutes, and the A6 e-tron quattro restoring enough power to cover up to 192 miles in just 10 minutes.

    Pricing and Availability

The new A6 e-tron models are priced from £62,500, and the A6 e-tron quattro variants from £75,000. All are available to order in the UK from October 31, with deliveries expected by the end of the first quarter of 2025.

Audi’s expansion of the A6 e-tron lineup offers a blend of efficiency, performance, and advanced technology, catering to a broader range of customers seeking premium electric vehicles.
