On the 26th October 2024, the Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally, supported by Isuzu, brought spectacular motorsport action, with former European and World champions taking part in the event.

The event started and concluded in Llandudno, with world class stages at Brenig, Clocaenog, Alwen, and Elsi. The 2019 winner of the FIA European Rally Championship, Chris Ingram, emerged as the victor of the overall event.

Isuzu UK dealer, Threeways Garage, provided two D-Max V-Cross vehicles to support the event. With its rugged 4×4 capability and renowned reliability, the pick-up was the right at home with the uneven terrain of the rally stages and was ideal for event marshals to ensure spectator safety throughout the event.

Sales Manager at Threeways Garage, Bryn Williams, said: “The Isuzu D-Max was the perfect vehicle to ensure smooth and safe operations at the rally. We received very positive feedback from the organisers regarding the vehicle’s performance during the event.”

Regional Sales Manager at Isuzu UK, Dean Asplin, commented: “It is exciting to see the diverse array of applications the D-Max is capable of, which is highlighted in the case of the Cambrian Rally. With the vehicle’s market-leading capability, coupled with the expertise of the team at Threeways Garage, the pick-up was the perfect choice for assisting the operations of the rally.”

Threeways Garage is one of the most distinguished Isuzu dealers in the UK, partnering with the Pick-Up Professionals since 1985 – spending nearly 40 years with the brand. The Abergele-based dealer has since gained a strong reputation for its high standards and copious level of experience.
